For this card I used my favorite technique: heat embossing with Ranger's embossing powder ultra fine black. This technique is dear to me, since it is through it that all began. At first, when I had not a lot of material, I embossed over my toaster. This combined with other techniques that I like such as using watercolors or distress inks.

  2. Jolie carte ! Love the effect of the frame against the CAC background. Re toaster: I still use my paint stripping heat gun, not ideal as it blows more than required but adequate !

  6. Love this card! Perfect Easter and Spring-like card! You almost made it look like stained glass by embossing that background black...I have this background stamp too and will have to try this. Love the spellbinders you used as well. Thanks for sharing.
